Story #4 Halloween Candy

We had Eden with us for Halloweens, Thanksgivings, and Christmases which are really the most fun times of year. I am so glad that we got double of them. I made both of her costumes and was so excited to do so. Halloween 2017 was the first time we took her trick-or-treating. One of her favorite ways to play was to carry around a bag/bucket and put things into it (dump and repeat) so trick-or-treating was her jam. She carried her bag and took the candy and put it right in. She hadn't had any candy up to this point so we were surprised when she seemed to prefer Snickers.

When we got home we let her try some of her loot. She took a bite and seemed to enjoy it but not enough to keep her from her toys. But soon the candy became her favorite toy. Taking it out of her bag and then putting it back in. She would sometimes bring me a candy and sign "more" (her way of asking for food) I would open it and she would take a small bite off the corner and walk away.
